Happy New Year

We woke up to yet more snow this morning. The tracks the kids have made throughout the yard as they've built snow forts and snowmen are gone... now it's only a stretch of smooth, white, pristine snow. A new canvas for new footprints.

It seems fitting.

The best thing about New Year's Day is the sense of having a clean slate. If the year behind us is cluttered with partial victories and half achievements, the year ahead of us is rife with the potential for unblemished perfection.

If we weren't the people we wanted to be in 2007, we've got another shot at it in 2008. Dream big!
