Just A Thought

As I am surfing the web trying to get my head wrapped around the Freddie & Fannie disaster, I am thinking this might be a great time to test out a fun new attack on McCain regarding his membership in the Keating 5.

In the same spirit of recent Republican lies "exaggerations", the Dems could really capitalize on tying the two together by reminding taxpayers (now holding the bag for what Atrios calls "big shit pile") of the S&L bailout.

And wasn't a Bush involved in that one, too? It's a two-fer.
